Thank you for your input into the design of the new Village Green Plaground in Beaconsfield.

Through two rounds of consultation, we were able to find what you valued and wanted most in the playground, how you wanted to use the playground, and what design elements and equipment you wanted to see in the renewal.

31 July - 20 August 2023

This survey's objectives were to discover how the playground was currently being used, what did community like about the exisiting playground, what would they want to see in the upgrade and what their favourite thing to do at a playground was. This helped to influence the draft design, to ensure communities wants were implented where possible.

16 October - 5 November 2023

Based on the feedback gained during Stage 1 consultation, Council engaged a designer to design four options for community to vote on. These designs included the key themes of fencing for child safety, picnic tables, seating and shelter, the installation of a junior flying fox, a variety of equipment, and upgrades to the swings and slides that were found during Stage 1.
