In 2022, Council will construct 5 new playgrounds; Walnut Way Reserve, Ray Canobie Reserve, Dutton Place Reserve (Pakenham), Bayles Flora and Fauna Park and Barker Road Reserve (Garfield).

In round 1 consultation the community told us what was important in a playground/ park design. From this we came up with design options that captured the communities feedback. In round 2 consultation we asked the community to vote for their favourite design.

We are now very excited to share with you, the chosen designs. See below designs for Barker Road Reserve Garfield, Bayles Flora and Fauna Park, Walnut Way Reserve, Ray Canobie Reserve and Dutton Place Reserve in Pakenham.

Works are currently under way to complete these projects and all sites are estimated to be open to the public by September 2022.

Ray Canobie Reserve, Barker Road Reserve, Bayles Flora and Fauna Park and Walnut Way Reserve playgrounds are now open for you to enjoy! Dutton Place Reserve will be open on 7th October 2022.
