Round 2 survey on draft community priorities

About this survey

The Imagine Cardinia People’s Panel is a representative group of residents helping to develop 4 major Council plans:

Council Plan 2021-25
Community Vision 2040
Financial Plan 2021-31
Council Budget 2021-25

The panel members have held 5 online meetings to learn about and discuss the big challenges and opportunities facing Cardinia Shire.

As a result of these discussions, they’ve drafted their priorities for the future, under 6 priority areas:

Planning and support for community growth and infrastructure needs
Local jobs
Protecting our natural assets and sustainable development
Planning for all modes of transport
Environment, sustainability, waste and protecting agricultural land
Strong, healthy and connected communities

Your feedback is important

This survey is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the draft priorities prepared by the People’s Panel. It would be most appreciated if you could please complete the survey (which should only take about 10 minutes).

How your feedback will be used

At the final session of the People’s Panel, panel members will review the feedback received, refine the community priorities and prepare the Community Vision.

The People’s Panel will then present this work to Council. The Community Vision will remain as created by the panel. Council will strongly consider and incorporate the community priorities and recommendations where possible into the Council Plan, Financial Plan and Council Budget.
