Delivery of dog off-leash areas

Council is designating 13 dog off-leash areas across Cardinia Shire. These were decided after community consultation done in 2017 and 2018.

There are 3 different categories of dog off-leash areas: neighbourhood, district and regional.

Signage will be put up at all sites, however other infrastructure and landscaping to be installed will vary. See below for more information on what might possibly be installed at sites, depending on their category.

Council is seeking your feedback on the delivery of this infrastructure and landscaping. In particular, we’d like your feedback on the draft designs for the regional sites.

Submit your feedback using any of the consultation tools on this page.

Consultation has now closed.

Don Jackson Reserve and Toomuc Creek Linear Reserve are now complete. Alma Treloar is due for completion by July 2023. Cochrane Park and Tantallon Boulevard upgraded facilities are pending future funding.
