Parks Week 2023

1 March 2023

The 2023 Australian and New Zealand Parks Week is scheduled for 4-12 March 2023. Parks Week is an opportunity for organisations across Australia and New Zealand to highlight the value parks have in our communities by hosting events, sharing stories, and celebrating the people who work to provide these spaces. It's also a great reminder for people to get out and explore their local parks and take time to focus on their wellbeing.

The Parks Planning team has been working with internal departments and external agencies to bring “Get to Know Your Park” activities for 2023 Parks Week. The aim of the program is to encourage our community to visit their local park, meet their neighbours and provide an opportunity to engage with Council Officers from across our organisation.

Below is the schedule of 4 events Parks Planning will host across the week. Flyers attached below.

Please feel free to promote the flyers on your social media, within your networks and attend if you can.
