Have your say on Council's new Fair Access Policy

27 June 2024

Council has developed a Fair Access Policy to ensure equitable access to sport and active recreation facilities for all community members.

The policy is designed to promote and facilitate the participation of women and girls in sport within the Cardinia Shire.

The new policy is drafted in response to the Fair Access Policy Roadmap, which was developed by the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation in partnership with Sport and Recreation Victoria and aims to create a more inclusive and accessible environment in the community sports sector.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help create a more inclusive and equitable sports environment in our community. Consultation on the Fair Access Policy is now open and will close on Sunday, 14 July 2024.

The survey is available for the general public however a specific survey has been developed for sporting clubs as a primary stakeholder of this policy. Please follow this link to the Club Only survey http://creating.cardinia.vic.gov.au/cardinias-fair-access-policy
