Free Workshop: Healthier Partnerships (Monash Health)

Who: Sports club/association committee members in the City of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey and Cardinia Shire Council. 

Do you want to learn new strategies to attract sponsorship partners that align with your club’s values and promote health and wellbeing amongst your club community?

Monash Health are holding a free online workshop for sports club and association committee members in the City of Casey, Cardinia Shire, and Greater Dandenong.

You’ll learn:

  • How harmful industry partnerships (unhealthy food and beverages, alcohol and gambling) can influence people’s attitudes, preferences, and purchasing behaviour 
  • Community attitudes towards harmful partnerships  
  • Case studies highlighting the benefits of optimising your partnerships to align with health and wellbeing
  • Tips on how to successfully market yourself to healthier partners  
  • Practical activities on how to find your club assets and create a pitch deck

You will also be invited to participate in an upcoming Healthier Partnerships pilot project, where Monash Health provide free support to your club to put learnings into practice. This project aims to increase the number of healthier partners in local community sporting clubs.
