Cardinia Shire Council's Federal Election Community Q&A

23 April 2025

Cardinia Shire Council is hosting a Federal Election Community Q&A event on April 29th and would love to see as many local residents present as possible.

The Q&A will give you the chance to hear from the candidates contesting the seat of La Trobe at the upcoming federal election and provide the community with direct answers on the questions, issues, and priorities that you want to hear about before casting your vote. Even if you have decided how to vote, the Q&A is an opportunity to make sure that all candidates have the issues that are most important to you on their agenda.

Council is proud to welcome strategist and futurist Simon Waller as our independent moderator to guide the conversation about different perspectives on the future of Cardinia Shire over the next three years and beyond.

Registration for this event is essential and gives you the opportunity to submit questions, issues, or projects that you would like to see discussed during the event. The event will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person – just select ‘livestream ticket’ when registering and the link will be sent prior to the event.

Please note that all questions must be submitted during the registration process before the event, questions will not be taken from the audience on the night. We will do our best to ensure a wide range of topics and issues are covered, however due to time constraints it may not be possible to address all questions and issues that are submitted.
