Thank you for your input into the design of the new Waterford Rise Playground in Pakenham.

Through two rounds of consultation, we were able to find what you valued and wanted most in the playground, how you wanted to use the playground, and what design elements and equipment you wanted to see in the renewal.

31 July - 20 August 2023

This survey's objectives were to discover how the playground was currently being used, what did community like about the exisiting playground, what would they want to see in the upgrade and what their favourite thing to do at a playground was. This helped to influence the draft design, to ensure communities wants were implented where possible.

16 October - 5 November 2023

Based on the feedback gained during Stage 1 consultation, Council engaged a designer to design three options for community to vote on. These designs included the key themes of swings, monkey bars, slides, a variety of equipment for a range of age groups, sturdy structures for self-play and additonal seating. The design of the playground included colour, shelter and maximised the used of space.
