Cardinia Shire Council is developing a new Volunteer Strategy to guide how we support, recognise and strengthen volunteering across our community.
Volunteers play a vital role in Cardinia, from community groups and sporting clubs, to advisory committees and the management of community facilities. This project is about listening to those experiences and using them to shape a clear, practical and inclusive approach to volunteering into the future.

Stage 1: Community survey (March)
Stage 1 of engagement focuses on listening.
We are inviting people to complete a short survey during March to share their experiences, ideas and perspectives on volunteering in Cardinia.
Because volunteering takes many different forms, there are several surveys available, each tailored to a different type of experience. This helps us ask relevant questions and better understand the needs of different volunteer groups. All responses will be considered together and will inform one shared Volunteer Strategy for Cardinia Shire.
