What is the Annual Schools' Engagement Event?

We are seeking your feedback on the planning of an annual schools' engagement event which will bring together 5-6 student representatives for your school to engage on, and learn about, the work underway or in the pipeline for Council.

This event will be an opportunity for students to:

  • learn about the range of functions within local government;
  • have input into Council projects, policies and strategies;
  • hear from Council officers on a range of topics; and
  • develop their communication, critical thinking and leadership skills.
