Council is developing a new Domestic Animal Management Plan, and your input is essential in shaping policies that ensure the wellbeing of pets, their owners and the boarder community. Whether you’re a pet owner, animal lover, or simply a resident who wants to contribute, your feedback will help us create a plan that reflects the need and expectations of our community.

This is your chance to share your thoughts on key issues such as responsible pet ownership animal welfare, local laws and public spaces for pets. By completing this short survey, you can help guide the future of domestic animal management in our area. Your insights will contribute to policies that balance the needs of pet owners with those of the wider community, ensuring a safe, harmonious and pet friendly environment for all.

With finite open space and a growing population, we need a balanced plan that provides for everyone and ensures the safety and welfare of pets, people and our environment. It is vital that we hear from a broad section of the community – including people who don’t have pets – to ensure our Domestic Animal Management Plan meets the diverse needs of our community.
