Project update - Stage 2

Thank you to everyone who participated in the initial consultation for the new play space design at Greenland Court Reserve, Garfield.

In August 2024, we sought your input on what you would like to see in the new play space. We have considered some of your ideas into draft concept designs, which are now ready for your feedback.

When renewing our play spaces, we aim to provide valuable opportunities for children to explore, challenge and express themselves and develop a range of physical, cognitive and social skills which are vital to a child’s development.

The approach to playground renewal is guided by its classification. As a neighbourhood play space, Greenland Court Reserve is a small to medium play space with a 500-metre catchment. While this renewal won’t include barbeque, or an increase in playground size, it will continue to offer a delightful and engaging environment for children to explore and enjoy. Each playground’s features are thoughtfully chosen to match its classification, ensuring it meets the needs of the community it serves.
