Cardinia Shire Council has introduced new resources to enhance its advocacy efforts, including the first Advocacy Guidelines and Framework and a Community Advocacy Toolkit.

These tools aim to empower both the Council and the community to effectively advocate for their needs. Mayor Cr Jack Kowarzik emphasized that these resources will help amplify the community's voice and support critical projects requiring government funding. The Advocacy Guidelines will guide future advocacy activities, while the Community Advocacy Toolkit provides practical resources like checklists and templates to assist residents in their advocacy efforts.
