New Wine Strategy To Boost Regional Jobs And Growth

The Victorian Government has launched a five-year strategy to grow Victoria’s $9.5 billion wine industry, aiming to boost regional jobs, innovation, sustainability, tourism, and trade.

Developed in partnership with Wine Victoria, the strategy focuses on workforce development, enhancing visitor experiences, and expanding global market access. With over 21 wine regions and 400 cellar doors, the sector supports more than 23,000 jobs. A new $10 million export package and leadership from Hayley Purbrick as Sustainability and Innovation Lead will help ensure long-term industry success.
