Backing Workers In Our World-Class Wine Industry

30 June 2025

The Victorian Government has committed $160,000—matched by Wine Australia for a total of $400,000—to support Wine Victoria in enhancing sustainability and innovation across the state’s wine industry. This funding will expand advisory services for grape growers and winemakers, helping them adopt best practices and build resilience against climate change.

Wine contributes $9.5 billion to Victoria’s economy and is a key driver of regional jobs and tourism. The investment complements the upcoming Victorian Wine Strategy, co-designed with industry stakeholders, which will focus on trade, innovation, sustainability, and community development.
