10 August 2023

Angry customer

Regrettably, the escalation of retail-related crime and the increasing number of attacks on retail personnel persistently exert a profoundly negative influence on the retail industry. This impact is particularly pronounced for frontline staff and small business proprietors.

The Australian Retailers Association has concentrated its efforts on advocating in this sphere. In the forthcoming months, they are intensifying their endeavors to contribute to the reduction of retail crime and assaults against retail employees.

To enhance their interactions with law enforcement, government bodies, and the media, retailers are encouraged to participate in either or both of the subsequent surveys. These surveys are anticipated to take approximately five minutes to finish.

Both surveys are accessible to all nationwide retailers, and unless otherwise specified, all provided information will be rendered anonymous.

Kindly undertake either or both surveys before the close of business on Tuesday, August 22nd
