Project overview - Stage 2

Council is planning upgrades to the Bunyip Sanctuary BMX track on Wattletree Road. According to Council's Skate and BMX Strategy, the site has the only scaled jump tracks in the shire and provides opportunities for more advanced riders to enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback shared in 2025 which helped shape the draft concept plan below. See the view of the plan from above, facing west and facing south.

The plan shows the track with an unsealed surface which is the standard finish of a BMX track. We invite you to view the images and share your thoughts below.

Stage 1 Engagement 2025

In stage 1 of the community consultation in 2025 you told us how you use the track and what you like about it. This helped us to gather ideas on how to improve the track. Whether it's fencing, or adding seating and shelter, your input is crucial. We want to make the track better for everyone and ensure the track is safe and well-maintained.
