About Amendment C241
Amendment C241 facilitates the acquisition of parcels of land for the future development of signalised intersections in Officer and Beaconsfield. The Officer Precinct Structure Plan identifies the sites that are required.
In accordance with the Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, prior to the commencement of the acquisition process the land must be reserved which is generally through the application of the Public Acquisition Overlay (PAO).

At the Council meeting on 9 December 2019, Council resolved to seek authorisation to prepare Amendment C241.
Amendment C241 was on exhibition from 20 February 2020 to 20 March 2020.
Submissions for Amendment C241 closed at 5pm on Friday 20 March 2020.
Submissions were not received; therefore, a report to Council was not required.
At the Council meeting on 14 April 2020, Council resolved to adopt Amendment C241.
Amendment C241 was approved.
